Paul Shelley

Registered Building Practitioner

Paul has more than 30 years of construction experience, holding building licences in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. Paul is also a Registered Building Practitioner under the Design and Building Practitioners Act (2020) – a certification introduced to improve class two building (apartments) design and construction.

Paul has held construction and project manager roles for many major projects delivered by

high profile Australian property groups such as Mirvac, Clarendon Group, H & T Group, and BlueCHP (Affordable Housing Provider) to name a few.

Paul has overseen the development of over $220 million of residential apartments from start up to completion that includes all builds including Fire and HVAC services.

Building and defect solutions are Paul’s area of expertise.

In 2015 Paul received the MBA Award of Excellence for delivering The Point Piper House in the

$3-5 million Alterations and Renovation category.

I am an experienced Manager with over Thirty years experience in the IFM and Facility Management Service Industry.

My experiences range from managing large and complex contracts to managing a diverse range of individuals whilst developing the accounts along with building and maintaining relationships. A key strength is the ability to install a shared passionate commitment to customer service to my fellow team members and peers with an emphasis on respect and integrity.

As a team player I understand the value of service and in keeping with the Company’s ethos whilst being able to execute safety, security and quality based on the Company policies and procedures.

I have managed many blue chip portfolios with clients such as GE; CBRE; AMP; Vicinity Group; Stocklands; Goodman Fielder; Murdoch Magazines; Coles; Westfield; Merivale Group; JLL; ANZ; CBA; BGIS; Sydney Opera House to name a few.

My experience has centered on the management of contractual requirements being met and all sites maintaining consistent KPI’s with minimum exposure to risk and litigation. Included in my roles has been the business improvements plans; compliance; audits and the day to day management of my teams.
